Our Story
Founded in 1987 by Jerry and Jim O’Mara, Comfort Air Distributing began with a mission to strengthen the Rheem HVAC brand in Colorado and Wyoming. What started with eight employees in a single location has grown into a leading HVAC distributor with more than 40 team members and four convenient branch locations in Denver, Colorado Springs, Centennial, and Broomfield.
For nearly four decades, Comfort Air has stayed true to its roots as a customer-focused distributor, while adapting to the ever-changing needs of the Colorado distribution marketplace. Our delivery network even extends north into Wyoming, ensuring contractors and businesses across the region get the parts and products they need quickly and reliably.
Growth and Partnership
In 2019, Comfort Air Distributing joined Munch Supply, and by 2021, became part of the Marcone Group, one of North America’s leading distributors serving the HVAC, plumbing, and appliance parts industries.
In 2025, Marcone (now mSupply) opened a state-of-the-art 160,000 sq. ft. Comfort Air regional distribution center in Denver. This facility enhances our ability to provide a full range of HVAC equipment, water heaters, plumbing supplies, and replacement parts—strengthening our commitment to serving the Colorado and Wyoming markets.
