SharkBite Max™ Fittings provide quick, reliable connections for residential and commercial plumbing systems. Engineered with stainless steel retainers, these fittings are rated for up to 400 psi and offer lower insertion effort than previous SharkBite brass push-to-connect fittings. SharkBite Max™ fittings are compatible with PEX, copper, CPVC, PE-RT, and HDPE piping and are available in sizes from 1/2" to 2", supporting a wide range of applications, including larger diameter installations. For fittings 1-1/4" and larger, a PEX tube liner is required when used with PEX piping. Tube liners are not required for PEX applications 1" and below. HDPE installations require a tube stiffener (sold separately by the HDPE manufacturer).
